AIM Altitude congratulates EasyJet on 20 years of flying. The two companies have worked together for many years, with AIM Altitude producing over 260 galleys for the low cost carrier.
The close relationship began in 2002, when EasyJet made its first purchase of 161 Airbus-319s. The initial technical coordination meeting was held between EasyJet and AIM Altitude in December 2002, with an on-the-dock date for the first ship set, agreed for June 2003. AIM Altitude was awarded the contract to design, engineer and manufacture Galleys one and four.
In February 2007, AIM Altitude was presented with an award for supplying its 100th A319 ship-set, on the EasyJet fleet. In total, AIM Altitude has supplied galleys for 161 Airbus-319s and 105 Airbus-320s. With only another seven ship-sets left to deliver, the partnership has been running successfully for over 12 years.
Chris Wenstrom, Technical Sales Director at AIM Altitude’s Galleys and Stowages division, said:
“We would like to congratulate EasyJet on 20 years of success. We are proud to be a part of making them such an inspiring brand.”
