On the evening of Wednesday 23rd January, AIM Altitude hosted an Apprenticeship Levy seminar in conjunction with Christchurch and East Dorset Councils. Held at AIM Altitude’s head office and factory facilities at Bournemouth Airport, the event welcomed representatives from all business sectors and sizes.
Information was provided regarding degree and higher-level apprenticeships, the levy in the supply chain, and innovative ways to spend the levy. The evening also provided useful knowledge-sharing and networking opportunities.
Speakers included Colin Thornton, Group Design and Engineering Director, AIM Altitude; Phillip Sewell and Matthew White, Bournemouth University; Matthew Butcher, Bournemouth and Poole College; Rod Davis – Dorset and Somerset Training Providers Network; Gerry Bishop, Cobham PLC; and Anthony Carr, Bournemouth and Poole College.
At the close of the seminar, Colin Thornton conducted a tour of the operational side of AIM Altitude.
