Bloomberg has announced its top six in-flight bars, and AIM Altitude has been involved in the design and making of four of them.
In an article on luxury travel and the best aeroplane bars, Bloomberg gave the following rating:
6. Korean Air
3. Etihad Airways
Of these, AIM Altitude is responsible for Qatar Airways, Emirates Airline, Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Australia. The journalist, Eric Rosen, picks out the dramatic, eye-catching branding features. He refers to the creation of open-flowing spaces; the specialised lighting, made possible by AIM Altitude’s own patented Autonomous Lighting Dimmer (ALD); and notes the iconic style of the Emirates lounge. It is the ability to create these features that gives AIM Altitude a market-leading reputation in the premium cabins of the world’s leading airlines.
Mike Pervan, Managing Director of AIM Altitude’s design facility in New Zealand, said:
“We are delighted to see our bars featuring as four of Bloomberg’s top six. It is testament to the meticulous and pioneering work of our design, engineering and manufacturing teams that we were able to achieve this accolade.”
