Through its support of the community programme, Premier League Kicks, and its links with AFC Bournemouth, an AIM Altitude football team has had the privilege to play on the hallowed turf of Bournemouth’s Vitality Stadium.
The ‘Play on the Pitch’ day at AFC Bournemouth was a chance for local companies to put forward their own team for a five-a-side tournament. Ten teams took part in the day, with AIM Altitude competing against organisations like JP Morgan and Bournemouth University.
AIM Altitude was well represented with special kit provided, AIMsley Bear in attendance, and even its own cheerleaders. A crowd of friends and family joined to watch the event, including the children of many of the players. Goalkeeper for the day and manufacturing supervisor at AIM Altitude, Richard Pope, said: “The sun was shining and the atmosphere was electric. Everyone was so happy to be taking part, it was an incredible experience to play on the pitch”.
