AIM Aviation will this week be celebrating the completion of its new Byfleet facility with an official opening ceremony.
The major new factory extension has been built by AIM Aviation at its Galleys and Stowages division in Byfleet, Surrey. Despite the scale of the project, it has been accomplished both on time, and to budget.
AIM Aviation will now benefit from an additional 31,000 square feet of state-of-the-art production and testing facilities, in support of current and future company growth.
Wayne Ball, Managing Director of AIM Aviation’s Galley Business commented:
“We have established a world-class design and manufacturing operation that will enable us to further enhance the products and services that we provide to our Airline customers and airframe OEMs. We are delighted to be officially opening the new facility.”
The additional capacity will add to the already significant area of 4,100sqm of existing production facilities at the site. This is over and above AIM Aviation’s other facilities for the production of premium cabin interiors and composites.
