On its stand at AIX 2016, AIM Altitude will be taking visitors on a journey through a wide bodied aircraft from Concept to Completion, using virtual reality to allow people to experience the possibilities of cabin design.
The tour will begin with a ‘concept studio’ and development phase, where ideas and techniques will be displayed. These ideas will be translated into a virtual cabin experience, where AIM Altitude’s design visions will be projected into an immersive cabin environment.
There will be three different Door 2 scenes, all created to scale:
- ‘Classic’ – a more traditional configuration utilising a typical door 2 layout
- ‘Space’ – the chance to differentiate: a forward-facing galley and a half-height unit, with clean and open sightlines, which create an open, airy feel
- ‘Social’ – a relaxing social experience promoted by bespoke seating units and socialising space. This scene shows AIM Altitude’s vision and aesthetic ideas for the future.
The final phase will be a physical, full-scale galley mock-up, with LED illumination, and both decorative and practical lighting. Premium monuments and aisle display options will demonstrate the flexibility and differentiation that AIM Altitude can offer.
