AIM Aviation presents on The Application of Lean in New Product Development at the Lean Process Conference in Barcelona.
Colin Thornton, Managing Director of Cabin Interiors at AIM Aviation, was asked to share his experience with attendees of this year’s Simpler CEO Symposium. Simpler hosts the annual event to bring together CEOs from companies at the forefront of Lean. Leaders in particular areas of lean are asked to share their story with the delegates in order to foster exchange of best practices and to generate discussion.
Colin Thornton says: “AIM Aviation is currently working with Simpler to ensure we can meet the challenge of reduced development lead-times and to improve the value our customers see in the final product. New Product Development is an area in which the majority of attendees are still working under more traditional manufacturing approaches, so our insights were well received.”
